1. Application and properties
DPM is a two-way sealing and guiding component consisting of one elastic body, two back-up rings, and two
guide rings. The elastic body can provide good sealing action dynamically and statically, the back-up rings prevent the
elastic body from being squeezed into the sealing gap, and the guide rings guide the piston inside the cylinder and
absorb radial forces.
It is mainly used for oil cylinders with low movement speeds, strict requirements for internal leakage, and limited
installation space for piston seals, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, hydraulic gates, and agricultural machinery.
The outstanding feature of this seal is that the retaining rings, guide rings, and sealing components are installed in
one groove, greatly saving installation space. It is usually used for oil cylinders with smaller diameters, and other sealing
components are not required to be installed on the piston.
It is usually used for integral piston.
